Serving more than 13,000 children each year, our purpose is to inspire and enable young people, ages 7-18, especially those from challenging circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Boys and Girls Club offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities, year round, every day of the year. Volunteers must commit to work one shift a month for a minimum of two months. For the Fort Lauderdale shelter, volunteers can work Monday through Saturday. For the Pompano shelter, volunteers can work Wednesday through Sunday and customize their time to fit their needs.
